FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I COME TO PVCC–HCM?
As our guests, we want to provide a casual atmosphere and family feeling. When you arrive you will normally be greeted with a warm greeting. We are an active community embracing contemporary and traditional styles to provide a friendly multigenerational /multicultural service. After service, you, your family and friends are invited to join us for a cup of coffee.

WHAT IS THE MAIN SERVICE LIKE?
As you enter the auditorium, an usher will hand you a copy of our bulletin and help get you seated. Our service opens with a blended style of worship music including some familiar Christian hymns via our live band. From time to time, the service will feature a short drama. Forget to bring your Bible? Not to worry. You can expect to see lyrics and scriptures projected on a video screen to add to your overall worship experience. Following worship, you'll enjoy relevant messages from our pastor or guest speaker.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Whatever is comfortable and casual. Jeans are acceptable (male or female).

AS A VISITOR, AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE?
As a visitor, we do not expect you to give. Giving is reserved for our members as an act of worship, and in response to and celebration of the new life God has given us through His son, Jesus Christ. In our services, no plate is passed and no one embarrassed. Our members may drop their donations before or after service in the designated offering containers in the back of the main auditorium.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
We are always looking for volunteers to assist in both the day−to−day and weekly needs of the ministry. There are several ways to get involved. Join us as we come together and serve as a community.

We ask you to prayerfully consider where God could use your time, gifts, talents, and resources. For more information, email Rob Grossenbacher

COMMUNITY GROUPS

HOW CAN I GET PLUGGED IN?
We believe individuals need connection and relationship. One of our goals is for every person to be in a caring community because we believe authentic life change happens within communities of people. Community groups are one of the ways we connect with others on a deeper level.

WHAT HAPPENS THERE?
We believe that God tangibly expresses His grace through relationship. In light of this fact, we want every person to have the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with God and others by exploring scripture, engaging in fellowship and connecting in prayer.

DO I NEED TO BE A BIBLE EXPERT TO ATTEND?
No…just bring your Bible, your heart, and your brain for some stimulating discussion time.
