Early History
Pinole Valley Community Church (PVCC) was founded in when a group of Christians saw a vision of a bright Christian beacon in Pinole Valley California. PVCC has had a light on and an welcoming door ever since. In our 44 years, we have always believed in creating a legacy of ministry and outreach.

For nearly a decade, Harvest Chapel has developed a reputation for local and global outreach, dynamic worship, and an active youth group (The Gathering).

Church Growth
In order to have a greater impact on the community, PVCC merged with Harvest Chapel of El Sobrante. The convergence was finalized on August 9, 2008 creating one church ‘Pinole Valley Community and Harvest Chapel Ministries’ (PVCC-HCM).

From our humble beginnings to where we are now, PVCC–HCM plans for significant growth as a direct result of our new strategic location and collective vision with Pastor John Wright and Youth Minister Michael Estabrook at the helm.

Currently, PVCC–HCM has alumni both on the mission field and in the ministry.

PVCC–HCM is located directly across from Pinole Valley High School, just off of I−80.
